It's awesome if you go to an actual art school. And don't get burnt out... and have a job waiting for you before you graduate. lol Actually, it's the worst major to go into. xD

Oh godddddddd I bet. Man if someone could do them clear-blue with leds inside... I know DreamVisionCreations used to do that stuff, but I don't know if they're still taking commissions.
Hahaha right? I know my gf went into classical lit or something I always forget. Something Literary based though, and she did bookselling for a while afterward, but since she moved here, GA's job market is ass, and it's so hard for her to find a job.
But that one bit of advice "have a job waiting before you graduate"? I can't agree with something more. Some seriously wise words right there. Because even though a lot of schools will promise you a job after you graduate (I did cosmetology, I had to find my own job even though they promised me one, and it took me almost a year to get a job), it's really best to do it yourself in advance.

I always thought DVC didn't do anything specific. I'm hardcore particular about my B though. xD I figured I'll just get a suit head of her feral form and be done with that. At least until someone who can actually make custom antlers comes along. With school loan debt, it's not much of a priority sadly. lol
Speaking of school loan debt. haha I think everywhere is total ass. Honestly, I had this conversation with someone before and we decided it's only worth going into doctor or lawyer-type jobs. There are some good programmes for teachers and vets (depending on where you live) but it's not really worth it. I graduated in December '12 and I've had one job since. It was seasonal. If that tells you anything about the job market. lol So I'm down to selling half my stuff and hoping some obscure rich relative dies and leaves me lots of money. xD (I wish~)
My original plan was to go down to Disney and work, but they make you work in the park first. Gross. And by the time I graduated, school had burnt me out on drawing so much that I'd be perfectly content never drawing again - even now. When you're being forced to draw things you don't want, it's really not much fun. And the whole having a job before graduating... I've found out that I'm overlooked for MANY jobs because I'm overqualified now. Thanks, college. It's been super fun~ =|

Ugh right? that's part of my gf's problem, she's overqualified for pretty much everything she's applied for. I just don't even understand how that works, if you NEED people, then frigging hire someone, they must need the darn job if they're applying, y'know? (she's put in like, 150 apps since feb 2013, it's awful. Especially since she's only gotten maybe... 10 interviews out of that and no callbacks. :| )
