How long has it been since Keeper returned to the wasteland? Two months?? Three? It's hard to keep track of the time, it runs by so fast, yet agonizingly slow.
The canine's ears perk, the familiar sound of shambling nearby, followed by a low guttural groan. All these sounds were known really well. Those that survived knew the horrors that awaited as the Utonagan turned to face the Hunter.
And boy there he was. Old, dilapidated, one eye gouged out, jaw hanging barely on to the socket. Shoulder dislocated, wrist broken, and cuts, scrapes, and the dark globules of congealed blood encompassing every wound.
To most furs, it's a sight worth screaming at. To Keeper....well....he just grins and raises his rifle, easily taking down the zombie with a precision shot. Almost immediately, a horde appear from all sides, groaning, begging for a meal that has long been denied. Keeper just laughs and draws his sword, content to deny them one for eternity. Thank goodness for the supply drop.
So I got this commission based upon a most awesome game called Humans Vs. Zombies! Imagine like a giant game of tag with nerf guns, foam sword, and hundreds of players trying to survive and complete missions! I used to play this all the time at Texas State and kind of lamenting that there's not really a good one locally T^T #relivingglorydays

Best thing you can do for melee is to join a local larp group. You'll get so good at melee the zombies won't stand a chance. Long Shot is good, but it's old, might want to consider updating your rig. Keep in mind that the Long Strike is a lie, it doesn't shoot any further than the Recon. Also keep in mind to always keep a sock in the pocket just in case they get in close. Don't get caught reloading.
I was a competitive Sabre fencer for my University, they stood no chance period xD
Mm, my father has the Longstrike, I still prefer my Longshot just take the other blaster off). Though I'll happily admit I'm a bigger fan of the Rampage! Zip tie the trigger and pump away with multiple drums reloaded!!
As for socks, I have a few, though I'm a bigger fan of the Twinkie bomb >:3

Nice. I keep a Maverick most for show, but gave it a full barrel drop and my own custom mod where I carved out a bit of the front brace in something I call a "5th barrel exposure mod" so that the brace doesn't block two of the barrels in the cylinder. I keep thinking about doing a full cylinder removal mod where you shoot all 6 rounds and then instead of reloading you just remove the cylinder entirely and put a new one in. Never got around to it though.
