I don't think I want to spam images of the helm, so this is it for now.
This give a fairly decent view of the nasal, (The faceguard piece,) the cheek flaps and the crown or top.
I am thinking of doing an elaborate skull or dragon shaped design just for the hell of it, as I don't LARP anymore.

Yes, its a common type of helm in SCA combat too.
The local Dagorhir chapter had a rule forever that did not allow metal helmets or armor because of a percieved liability risk that was poorly thought out.
To me, it always looked more like a few of the officers just did not want armor on the field.
However, it got me to experimenting with forming leather, and I am doing interesting things here and there as a result.
