An original creation by me ((and for those who want to know, she's of my donky people, hence the large ears))
Silia was once a young girl who lived alone with her mother. One day she decided to wonder into a forest next to their new house. She later found herself lost and then hearing the sound of water, she ran all the way towards the sound and deeper into the forest. Once at the river, Silia leaned over to take a drink and fell in. Since she was so small and frail and tired, she began to drown and died in the river.
Two years have passed and Silia’s mother has still been looking for her daughter. Even with the help of her family and towns people, she is no where to be seen. Then on a fateful day when her mother was about to give up all hope, she wondered across a silver like river. She was exhausted and just couldn’t hold onto her memories any longer. So she bent down and leaned over the edge of the river and as she did, her tears for her daughter plummeted down and rippled the surface. Her mother’s eyes grew wide. She thought that she might have been going insane. For when she peered down into the river, instead of her own refection, the face of her daughter stared back. Her mother could not look away, as if stuck on a web of endless time. For all her searching has led her to this very spot at which so long ago her daughter had died.
Her mother began to cry. She cried so much that her tires could have filled another river after Silia’s. Yet when Silia spoke the tears halted and her mother looked down at her. Silia spoke of a great life for her mother. She told her mother that she would bare three new children. Marry a great man and live till she was old and grey and die in a nice warm bed. Though through all of which Silia had told her. Silia’s mother could not listen to the last words. Silia had given her mother a new life yet taken the life that her mother had known away so that she could live peacefully.
So Silia’s mother lived a life of joy, and Silia remained in the River as a spirit granting people lives of joy of those who were like her mother and as time passed Silia found her place in the world to grow and with this, she became.
