This is going to get me hanged but when someone was talking about cartoons the other day they said they hated that "Anime stuff from Japan". His primary example was Winx Club.. Which is from italy, and I said so too. After much denial he blurted out it cannot be because they have large eyes on the show, and that meant it comes from Japan.

That is about when it hits me, if Stereotypical Generic Manga/anime is large eyes and small mouths. Than Stereotypical Generic American is two ping pong balls with dots with large saucer mouths and red noses. Also known as the John K style.
