This, is Haystack. He's a multicolored Tanuki - and he's extreamely sweet and patient. I made the trufts at his fingers, tail, atop his head, and on his face touched with various shades of color. Haystack is a special Tanuki that has the ability to shift colors at whim. It's a cold day outside. . .in fact it's a seriously crazy day in his home town of Huntsville Alabama, because I doubt it EVER snows there. . .but there you go.

Perhaps Haystack's feeling that he wants to warm things up a bit by changing his color over a cup of Cocoa or coffee or tea! You guys decide.
