Ride'm Cowboy! Thats great Foshu! Poor carrot, it was close to being eaten too, and at least the bunny will have a nice-sized place to stay in, warm and cozy, then again she may have a roommate soon enough as well. It's funny and at first I thought it was you with a new fur coat, anyway, his the big critter gets a nice little bump in his belly!

Wonderful comic, with the setup of the rabbit finding the carrot and then rising alert being a perfect lead-in to that final scene.
I love the expressions on their faces and the characters just look great; in form, colors and shading.
Hunting scenes are far too rare, and this one is definitely one of the more entertaining ones. :)

I just like to let artists whose work I enjoy, know the things I like about a picture and why I like them. If nothing else, it will hopefully help the artist to know the elements they put in that really work. It doesn't mean other elements need work, but just what I see as some of the strong points. :)

It's all 'awww, how adorable' at first. Very perfectly done rabbit. And the scene around.. it really does feel like looking at a movie clip. You have such a way with live faces, and their surroundings. Things just look more alive when you put your pen/pencil/other art tool to it. Then, the final scene. I could just see a dragon with a fox on it's back bursting out of a bush like that an darting right after the freaked out and running rabbit! It looks so much like a snapshot of a piece in motion. An the faces.. there's just so much life there.
Of course, I love how it's all turning out too.. draggie's gonna nom a poor bunny in time.. an I'm sure it won't be long before that rider is riding.. in a different position.. possibly along with the bunny. XD I almost think that'd be a perfect part 2 to this piece, if ever one happened! Top-notch work there Foshu, do keep it up miss cute fox! Oh.. should I mention tasty? I've suddenly found I really like mangos, heh! XD

I think the final panel would speak of a lot more action and movement if I drew it from another angle, get a diagonal motion through it. I also placed the focus point almost at the edge of the picture because I wanted to show a second coil of Saphi's body behind the bush to show her size and all. That's just no good for an action scene

i guess to give it the true dramatic prairie dog feel the rabbit would have to look more over exagurated, like his head is turned a bit more and his eye's would have to be a bit wider X3
but at second glance it does look like it. i was actually talking about the last frame when he was running away *nods*

oh well, the life of a prey critter is just fraught with danger. i shall endeavor to teach my fellow lapin's the art of the sword then. against something like a dragon type creature, we rabbits need every advantage we can get. i wouldn't call it spiteful, just very very weary. no harm meant.. (especially since you're a carnivore with your arms wrapped around me..hehe) *bolts as soon as he is released.* my people are oppressed i tell you,, STOP THE OPPRESSION..

Daw! The poor bunny. It never stood a chance. Makes me wonder if the carrot was put there in a deliberate attempt to lure a helpless bunny to it's doom.
Story aside, it's a wonderful picture with a style that focuses on expression. Great for depicting a scene without using words.
