It's DONE or been done for a while already but been waiting for a mannequin head to come back in stock. Just sent them another email and they said it's gonna be at least another two weeks :I so just wanted to get some photos done already!
I couldn't get any side views yet because the mask didn't fit here properly on my model's head u_u but will try to put some more up when I get one then!
This is my first resin mask, and it was so much fun working on this, can't wait to make more! Learned so much from doing this already, this is going to be a personal one that I'm hopefully able to wear in some cons.
I'm gonna make a few more foxes and blanks next, going to edit the sculpt/mold a bit and then cast some new ones and build another one. Not sure what kind of fox I'm going to make yet, possibly something white with grey and black markings.
I want to do all the foxes nghhh
After that I'd like to do some different cats, medium size cat and large cat sculpt etc., will see!
This mask has glass eyes which I hand-painted and a jawset that I sculpted but no tongue at the moment since I ran out of silicone. Will add the tongue later.
I don't have an airbrush so the markings are mostly brushed on (there's two different faux furs on this mask, a black one and then that nice silvery one)

THey're about 0.5" deep! I think? Bit less than that! (not used to inches but my other ruler disappeared haha) got them from an online shop in the UK.
The first mask I did I used flat glass blanks too, super difficult to get the eyes looking in the same direction but now I know better haha

Åh Herre Gud I will be on that so fast. Premades or commissions- doesn't matter I'd pay the price. Foxes are the ultimate creatures.. to wear one of your masks would be an honour! I'd die to see a red marble/sunglow done by you.. ahhh my goodness. You are incredible, thank you for existing.
Where did you get that silver fur?? I cant seem to find any that isnt frosted mongolian or really crummy looking. This is my favorite fox ever made, it looks spot on and the most realistic of any I have seen. I didnt know you had made this one when I commented on the other one. Really, absolutely outstanding work. As a Taxidermist..I probably couldnt do better than this, and this is fake. Certainly says something.
