Hello again, i've got another gouache painting here that i think you'll like. this particular picture was made as a loose reproduction from a photo that my best friend sent me on her phone while she was in Hawaii a few weeks ago. once again i've put the familiar sepia watercolor background under the main focus of the painting, but this time surrounded the whole edge of the canvas with a lightish-red border that i believe helps set off the colors of the painting itself.
please feel free to critique my work, i'm always looking to improve myself and my skills.

This picture is the second in a series of paintings i'm doing in preparation for my upcoming mission trip to the Philippines. we're raising money for the trip and so i'm making a bunch of various paintings and going to be selling them for donation towards the cost of travel.
