Goodbye My Friend
Now you be good. You're plenty tough to make it out here, bloodied or not.
Drawn in 2013.
This was part of the "Goodbye Chernobyl Curs" event, an Original Character Tournament I participated in over at deviantart a few years prior. I figured I ought to drawn my own character while he'd still be relevant.

Odd depiction of a Wendigo. Granted that I have always seen them as defenders of nature and the natural order of things, as all of their human victims tend to be those who have done great wrongs to the planet, animals, forests, or those that have got in their way while trying to protect such.
Not a wendigo, but that's a good guess!
The man depicted was the spirit/soul of a departed shaman that used the dog sort of as a vessel. I had some wonky work arounds with it when writing it at the time.
Or the dog was crazy and hallucinating everything. I left that pretty open for people and it made it kinda amusing.
