Ryder, was once a proud, Chieftain of his Tribe far inside an isolated island... until they were raided by the Researchers Recruits that wanted his race alive. He sacrificed himself to release his whole tribe in cost of his entire life as their Guinea Pig (or Wolf, probably). The deal was succeed and he was taken back to a facility, living as their slave and test subject for almost he could remember.

Fortunately, he slipped out from the facility and ran away, ended up by falling off from a cliff when he was hunted down. He then found and cured by Flitz, the child. Since then, he followed him to find his tribe's whereabouts and helped each other together.

Altough he had a big hatred towards almost everyone, he could be sweet and caring from the remains of his past life as a Chieftain.
