This is why I shouldn't do references or make side notes while drawing at 4 am.

So yeah. Spot the changes.
Usually the newer ones are ones I prefer but it's a toughie with these two. It was originally going to be my Dark form but got sidetracked. Differences can be drastic so I wanted to keep doing that.

Other things I'd consider:
-Making the newer have a scale color of black to blue
-Keep my original Spikes with a Red eye color but the new Spikes with a Violet eye color
-Original Spikes has clean clothing vs Newer Spikes with ragged clothing (Not like a hobo though)
-Footpads? Maybe.
-Both will have different roles and likings but same personality (to a point)
-A more monstrous look to the newer Spikes?
