Gothryd and Father Present: Old Brown's Daughter, With Apologies To Ron Hynes.

So I basically got a mic for myself for Christmas last year, and never really did much with it. After doing a fairly poor recording of another song I decided to get my father in on the recording thing.



Old Brown's Daughter is a song with a storied history as far as I can tell, being sung by a multitude of artists before being re-melodied into the version I'm familiar with.



My sound engineering isn't that great, and I don't really have a proper soundproof room, but I learned quite a bit about handling all those things with this.



Oh, and for any who have IDEAS with regards to the lyrics, "blow me" in this context means "blow me over" as in capsized. Getcher minds out of the gutter!



More will probably coming, with some solo stuff from just me, and probably some more duets with my dad as well. Maybe some three-part songs if I can rope some other poor family member into it.
