So I kind of feel uncomfortable posting this here, which is weird seeing as I was ok with it on my FB…. idk I guess posting a tattoo for a world of artist's to see can be intimidating.

This isn't exactly what I want it to be, it will be having more work done in the future…. but I got this done in the summer of 2012, which was uh, a bit of a haze to me because of some issues I had going on.

Despite that, this has always been something I wanted on my body, and getting it along my spine makes it that much more significant. This is the Third Eye from the Tool album "Lateralus." My love of Tool has been prevalent for over half of my life, and the third eye concept has also been something inspiring to me.

I wanted this to be different than the typical Third Eye logo from Lateralus, therefore I got the "flame" around it in shades of purple instead of rainbow. I also got the spirals added in to make it unique, and for other reasons….

I'm also self conscious cause I've gained half my body weight in the past year and a half because of medications and stupid shit. I'm used to being skinny little Jolyn ; ;

So here you go FA have a picture of my Tool Eye. I have 2 other tattoos that are also very personal, but one is in a personal area and the other is on my left foot and says my grandma's name "Mimi" that both my sister and I have to match each other.
