I wanted to show how I do a drawing.
First I make a sketch of the drawing is a very quick drawing with pencil, and with little detail, is to design the pose of the character and balance the figure on paper...
(In this case, this was a commission, and so I used the sketch to show an advance on my client, and have his approval to proceed with the drawing.)
Second, I make a completely new drawing in pencil, respecting the anatomy, proportions and characteristics of the character in question comply.
(In this case, it was a very complex and interesting character at the same time. Their tentacles and tail vary from position to the sketch. Textures and shadows are added).
And third, step-ink drawing, I correct details.
(In this case, I correct details. And I add electrical rays that were in the sketch, taking advantage of the fluency of the pencil of the sketch.)
This amazing character is named Ictis and is a creation of
geminisaint. Ictis is also the protagonist of a comic which is published in FA. I consider myself a fan of this amazing story and I really recommend it. Here is the link so they can read it and enjoy it as I do:

Quise mostrar como hago un dibujo.
Primero hago un boceto, es un dibujo muy rápido a lapiz, con poco detalle, basicamente es para diseñar la pose de el personaje y balancear la figura en el papel...
(En este caso, esto era una comisión, y entonces usé el boceto para mostrar un preview a mi cliente, y así tener su aprobación para seguir adelante con el dibujo).
Segundo, hago un dibujo completamente nuevo en lapiz, esta vez respetando anatomía, ajustando proporciones y características del personaje en cuestión.
(En este caso, es un personaje muy complejo e interesante al mismo tiempo... sus tentáculos y cola varían de la posición con respecto al boceto. Y agrego las texturas y las sombras).
Y tercero, paso a tinta el dibujo, corrigiendo detalles.
(En este caso, ademas de corregir los detalles agrego los rayos eléctricos que estaban en el boceto, y aprovecho la soltura del trazo del boceto).
Este increíble personaje se llama Ictis y es una creación de geminisaint. Ictis es protagonista de un comic que está publicado en FA. Soy fan de esta genial historieta y se los recomiendo. Acá les dejo el link para que puedan leerlo y disfrutarlo como yo.
