That photo was taken from the balcony of my stateroom, located on the starboard side of the Dawn Princess (Baja deck).
It was 6 AM coming back into San Francisco last July after my mom and I took a 17 day cruise to Alaska.
My girl friend and I are looking at going this time (I didn't know her back in July so...).

Last year I had to go into San Francisco to pick up a cruise ship (Dawn Princess) for my trip to Alaska, and we returned to the same port upon our return on July 20th in 2007.
I actually live in the state still, but I was originally born in San Pablo.
So, though I'm not in the Bay Area (currently and undisclosed location) I am a local boy.
