A little nod to Crimson (my old 93 SI). I was cleaning up a bunch of stuff today when I came across a bunch of paint that I still had left over from all that work I did on the old beasty. Since Crimson himself had a bright red valve cover, I felt it would be a fun little tribute to re-paint Azure's (my 07 Fit) engine cover in the exact same color as my old car.

HP mod, eh? Hmm... I thought your car was white. Guess my memory was off on that. Curious you went out and bought a small, aluminum can to drive around in, but hope it's a decent ride. I know how you feel though...
I'm currently at a crossroads... the standard transmission in my car died (seems to be shift control linkage/forks). Parts are more expensive than same car with automatic, so now I have to figure.. buy $1200 worth of parts to fix things on the car (and hope I can manage to work on a transmission myself), or try to find another one that perhaps has a bad motor or something (although my car in standard is rare).

The HP mod was just a sort of ricer in-joke, the idea that people make their cars look fast, but don't actually do any real work to make them faster.
I chose another Honda cause they are great on gas, this one is no exception. Since Crimson left me too soon I needed to fill that gap with a car I would actually like. This one fit the bill! :D

An aluminum can SHOULD be good on gas. I was just rather surprised.. after what happened before, I figured you might look for something err... beefier. (Although gas IS well over $4/gal where you live). Pffff... this one "fit" the bill, eh? You've not wandered down the road of punnery purposefully, now, have you?
Just remember, if you put a fart can on it, I'm going to have to flat come up there and kick your butt.
