THESE WERE TOUGH but hella fun!! I think I'll definitely do more in the future, I'm so rusty when it comes to pixels 9u6 and weirdly enough the full bodies were way easier than the headshot :I ? ? ? ??? ?
Probably gonna offer these for $20 from now on, just because they took way longer than I thought OTL Still only +1-5 for animation. (1 being for like a bouncing bubble, 5 more for like blinking or sparkles or w/e)
The separate animated versions can be found on my tumblr!

LOL I literally had to google that not even ten minutes before posting these. I'm a traditionalist when it comes to pixels, so I've never even really tried the draw and then shrink, I lay the pixels in by hand at 100x100. The only time I draw and then shrink is the sketch, which I do at 200x200 and then shrink to pixel over. IT'S A PAIN IN THE ASS but it's how I do it. THOUGH I was reading some more tutorials and I'm going to try a different method next time around that involves shrinking, and we'll see if that works.
BUT when I was first learning pixels theres a method where you draw it 200x200 or and then shrink it, and I use photoshop so when I go to image resize there's a drop down menu that usually reads 'bicubic automatic', you're going to want to switch it to nearest neighbor or a similar setting that preserves edges > http://gyazo.com/64b610752e095ef57b47a1c4636902c6 That helps it a little, but after that it's unfortunately going in with a 1px brush and cleaning it up manually 9u6
