So I decided to test out a theory that I could animate solely through shape morphing. Turns out I could! But it took forever to do because of a billion layers. So the trick is to use it sparingly, or use it on more simple characters.
Still, this looks pretty rad for only just learned morphing as I animated. Next trick is totally going to be deformation animation. Huzzah for Toonboom!
But for now, back to good ol' traditional :D

Yup. It's a professional animation program. There are several versions of it, depending on how much you're willing to spend and what your animation needs are. I believe the company is either out of Montreal. My fiance Juco and I both use Harmony.
I'm really curious... could you describe a little bit about what you can do in Harmony that isn't possible with Animate Pro? It had been my understanding that Harmony was essentially Animate Pro but with more network code added in so that multiple users could work with the same assets in a pipeline production environment whereas Animate Pro is more intended to be used by individuals outside of a coordinated crew development. I've been making some small steps at learning Animate Pro and Harmony was out of my price range so I never looked too closely at what it offered.
