This is fucking beautiful. I see now that most of it is.. colored pencil? and maybe it would be more evident if i saw it in person, but I never, ever would have guessed that at first with the way the icy blue/white was executed.

I kind of cheated here! Most of it is colored pencil, but a lot of the blue in the center is digital.. I made some mistakes on the original that I wanted to clean up a bit! I actually wanted to put a bunch of work into this digitally, but the universe is telling me to move forward and work on something new instead X3. I'm glad it's not SUPER obvious that it was painted over digitally in some places ;3

If anything, it probably helps out with it's impact. Like electricdream said below, it has a real punch to it. If it's a happy accident, I happily encourage you to play with mixing those techniques more.
