3840x2160 would be ideal, but I think 1080p would do just fine for 99 percent of furs.

Well, 3840 is about 1/3 the size of the original, so I think I can oblige! ;) I will post you a link once I've gotten it to a properly finished state; still got a bit more work to do on it today.

You ever think about doing backgrounds for animation? Your color sense and the way you prioritize contrast towards the characters would work well.

I would love to! I'm actually working on a series to use as a background painting portfolio.. I've been keeping an eye out for job postings, but if you happened to know of a studio I should check out, I'm all ears! :D

Please do! I feel like BG's don't get enough credit on FA. Personally I love seeing a background unfold with the character. Watching how it gives context and mood to what might be going on in the piece at hand, it's just as important as the characters laid over them! It's definitely one of the main focuses in my own work. :3
