With only a few more days left in my latest 'sweeps month' (May, 2014), I thought I'd squeeze in a few 'photo-ops' I took back at the 2003 edition of "Pawpet Megaplex" - central Florida's own annual 'furry convention'...
I'd met a number of anthroartists and illustrators in the Dealer's Room at the Sheraton Hotel in Orlando (where the con took place that year), including "FA" member :genesisw: GenesisW - who took the time off her busy schedule (selling her wares and drawing commissioned sketches) to pose with one of the 'fursuiters', who wandered in for a little attention.
I couldn't properly identify the species of this big cat (with a big black abstract sun symbol on his chest). I was unable to tell if he was a cougar, a panther, or even a stripeless tiger. If any of you out there recognize this 'fursuit' (and the person inside of it), please let me know, so that I can give him appropriate credit for the clever costume.
Anyway, I took a picture of the two of them (despite a slight blurring, when my 35mm camera jiggled). I hope you like this unique pairing...
BTW, for more information about the 2014 edition of "Megaplex", held this July in Orlando (with the theme being "The Candy Factory"), go to this link: https://my.megaplexcon.org/
