They had to put my pup, Zeus, down this morning. :(
I guess I shouldn't say pup, since he would've been 14 this year.
He's been at the vet for the last few days with a enlarged heart with a heart murmur, and back legs so crippled with arthritis he couldn't use them.
They said he was in good spirits when they went in today, was playful even, that longer than normal tail wagging a million miles an hour.
But he could only manage to drag his back half around.
They tried all they could, but as an outside dog, it makes functioning rather difficult, I suppose.
I'm gonna miss that old dog.
