Still busy, so some old art...
Not much explanation for this one - Some sort of elvin-fairy-spirit and/or alien thingy in a sort of comic book outfit cooling her footses in a magical glowing pond...uh, yeah....
This was a small pencil drawin, about 3 1/2 inches tall...Started colouring it in Painter X about four years ago...But when comp died and i got new comp with Linux i didn't have a program with those sort of textured brushes....Until the latest versions of Gimp and Krita came out.
This version of pic is where it was at a couple months ago, and i thought then that i might work on it more, but, no, i think this is finished....

I'm a black-light junkie i guess...Florescent colours don't scan well, but going direct to digi we can get effects similar...i did try to scan one old piece that was painted for blacklight in florescent colours, and messed with it in the comp to simulate black-light...

Family moved to West Hollywood from San Gabriel Calif around 1967/68 ? Crazy cool mom took me and sis to hippy head-shops on Hollywood Blvd and wow- all the cool black-light posters, incense, Hendrix, Doors, Beatles, etc...
Room was plastered wiff black-light poster growing-up,... to be replaced by Mucha, Kaluta, Jones, Dean, etc posters in my teens.
Twenty-something furs know blacklight from raves, glow-sticks, etc....It's a colour styling that often appears in digital art...
