Hmm..MM! ANubis! Love the head design. It's dark, its cool, Its Menacing! Anubis was pictured like some kind of anthro.. as in the original one. As for your's design, I take it he is wearing some kind of mask. It looks like it. But It's cool. Since it's more believable this way actully. I doubt there's any real anthro around. And just something I caught in the details, are the arms and legs kind of... separated? There seemed to have little gaps between the clothing and the arms (maybe because of the shadow?). Anyway, still awesome as always.

I had looked him up before I drew him and actually read he had the head of a jackal and the body of a man. (half jackal half man) So technically he was both in one, not full-on jackal anthro. according to what I was reading, anyway. He has been depicted as a quadruped as well! Also many of the original egyptian depictions of him showed him with a black head and a reddish colored body, which I assume was human skin. And his head kind of looked mask-like in the depictions because of that difference in coloration to me.

His face looks mask like in mine because I personally thought just doing a plain normal-looking jackal head would be quite boring for me. So I took liberties, like I like to do. And yeah! I did the little arm separations on purpose, just because! Experimenting.
