Part of the Poididae project I've suddenly decided to work on for Starbound.

This is the main references of the three primary Poididae species varients. From the left:
* Jungle - the original world of development, jungle is the primary 'base' Poididae, featuring well-developed wings capable of flight and sizable armblades, as well as general hairgrowth and frame development
* Space - Those that develop during space voyages and starship travel primarily grow a bit thinner and taller than most, with smaller, thinner wings and curved scythes, to avoid damage and emphasizing the lack of use they get in the cold voids of space travel.
* Desert - Primarily developing on dusty rocks that many 'colonists' call home, Desert Poididae are a hardy, bulky species with thick carapace and even thicker muscle. By far the most brutish evolution, the wings are small and stunted, whereas the arm blades grow to massive proportions.
'...The first person who names us after that one human creation from those childish games will be the second to learn what happens when a Longbarrel is installed the firing direction into a incomparable bodily port..."
