Out with the old and in with the new, I've had this thing Finnish sitting on my hard drive for a while now. It's the revitalized version of my character the glass jaw boxer in all his awesome glory.

I wanted to do something significantly different than the average character sheet. So instead of putting it on some kind of bland background I composited something that tells you a little bit about who I am and my bare beginnings as an artist. I've had many influences throughout my youth I remember always looking through the art that line the pages of my instruction manuals that came with my beloved super Nintendo games.

I acquired some skill studying the techniques in them and it's what steered me towards the kind of artist I wanted to be. I also scanned in a variety of doodles that covered my spiral notebooks from my high school days from cover to cover. These doodles always outnumber the amount of notes or the attempt at taking notes.

Basically a simpler time in my life when all I needed was a spiral notebook a pencil and a pilot and my dreams would soar.
