My Grandmother whom I call Mimi is so incredibly important to me, she always has been. Of all the grandkids, and even of her own children, she and I have something special. She always claims that half of me is hers, the other half is my Mom's. And now I am privileged enough to be living with her. It's my turn to help take care of her like she has always taken care of me.

I'm an old soul, and my Mimi and me have lots of fun together. She had these pictures in frames in her home so I snagged 'em out and scanned them to have to remember her by always.

My sister and I both have her name tattooed on our left foot. The dots over the "i's" are a moon and a star on mine. Our catch phrase is, "I love you to the moon and the stars." And it's so, so true.
