Since a while, I did saw some FA users frequently asked the same question over and over: What kind of Specie is this character (pointing at Sheyn and P9iko0)
As both are related from the same exact game, Spore, I decided to show it to you a screenshot of P9iko0, inside of the game where he comes from.
As we can see, it is really related with my first commissioned picture that I asked to
 rikkoshaye last year: http://www.furaffinity.net/view/11632282/
Man.... those pictures.... they really brought me back all the good memories from this game...

I do remember when someone told me that Lego are just for kids. I do remember those who made something just too amazing with the lego blocks, like a whole real life sized house, using only lego blocks!
From a very small piece, you can make something good when properly grouped all together!

I've been blown away by the intricate lego structures adults have made. As a kid I had really plain legos, but I still imagined things like phoenixes and robots, strange creatures, etc. That's one of my favorite things about art. Creativity is mostly limited by perspective or doubt in yourself.

Animals looking creature were simplier to make due to the Creepy and Cute Pack. Along with some of those parts from the pack, I did made something outside of it. But it took me a while to make the Pinuh in Spore, which basicly they started to look like some kind of monkeys at first.
I actually backed off after a while and took things using Creepy and Cute and remade them from 100% standard parts. Why? To make them viewable by a friend who didn't have that, and also the widest possible audience. I myself had to delete a number of potentially good creatures made using the Mechanical Parts promo from WalMart or K-Mart (I forget) because I couldn't see them.
Top Creators? Even the Maxis group didn't used those parts in their creations! They were restricted with the nomal, the insectoid and the creepy/cute pack.... and the Galactic adventure too.
Edit: It was a bad move, but it was EA idea for "trying" to make people to buy more Maxis product while giving a boost to buy the 2L Dr. Peppers.

I once looked up the top 10 most popular/recommended people, "buddied" them. best thing I ever did with Spore, in short order I had 10,000 top-notch creations, including coordinated city buildings + race + spaceship sets. my experience exploring the Galaxy was not like anyone else's it was superior! Most of those people tended to reach for the more exotic parts, though.

I had over 200 spaceships in my creation in a sporecast. I even have the achievement from being on the front page once due to one of them. It didn't lasted long but I was quite happy to have one of my creation to be on the front page for once.
I did participated the City Template sporecast for the halloween theme. It was quite interesting to see how creative the players can be there!
Then I saw the last one, the God of Mechanicals. Which I tended to try to make stuff like they did, vehicules, robots, etc. I wanted to go more with those parts and the building parts, either for something based on a theme, either by making an art.

Exactly. But since, I think, Spore, EA was the publisher for the latest games. I do wonder what will happen next for them, thought. Many would wish to see a Spore with the current graphics as today. It would be fun to see a HD looking Pinuh on my side. :)

I still have this vague hope someday Spore Beta will be in gaming museums as the forgotten triumph. I was stoked about that original demo, simulations of locomotion and evolution look cool, but are toys only university researchers get to play with, never the general public. Then the game evolved in development.
On the other hand, the kids in my family LOVED Spore, so I can't fault it. As a kid's game it was a complete triumph, at holidays, I could have 4 kids entertained for hours, 1 playing, 3 watching, in turns. That kept me coming back and discovering new things about the game LONG after I would have gotten bored with it and uninstalled it otherwise!
(yes, I'm kinda weird in that I agree with the people who were disappointed with spore, but disagree with them too)
Spore 2 isn't a bad idea, I suppose, but what will happen if they count on players making new content all over again?

Same as Spore 1 in the beginning: You'll get an invasion of "Penis" people at first. (No kidding there, they were alot of those when it started up before Maxis did put a censorship bar.)
But the thing about what it could actually be more funnier with players content would be to give more specific stuff so we could separate our creations! For example, I dont want to get a flying chair as ally for a spaceship, while not simply "disable" them in space mode, etc. Just adding more options would make life more easier in Spore.

Exactly and that was what it needed into the game too, a filter to clean more the game itself.
My other thinking on another idea was to get a compatibility between Spore and Darkspore. I mean... importing our captain in Darkspore.
Off course it could sound redundant there, but if we could choose some template moves, I am pretty sure we could have something to play with for our characters.
