Not bad at all. Reading it through once, I didn't notice any obvious problems. The ending (from his transformation onward) seemed a little quick, but maybe I had just imagined it differently from that picture you made a while back.

I probably could've lingered a bit more on that part, but the story ended up evolving away from the original premise a bit as I wrote it and that seemed like a good spot to end the first part. In the end, I just tried to keep it as short and sweet as I could.
The second half will follow Duncan as he struggles with what's happened to him.
