Hallo! this is my very first submission to FA. this is tha story of how Caridius became Caridius, an it is told in 1st person. so please enjoy! ^-^
It was a pretty nice day out when I made and used my first potion, everyone was busy and out of the house. I was bored so I decided to make a potion from a website that was supposed to make my eyes change color for the heck of it; I was so sure it wouldn’t work. How wrong I was. After making the potion I made a toast to no one in particular, gulping down the sparkling green concoction. It burned my throat as I passed out, next thing I know I found myself outside Lying on the grass. I wasn’t sure about what just happened, so I peeked in through my window and to my surprise I saw…myself. I thought how impossible that was…then I looked down seeing that I was covered in fur; I stared in disbelief at the grey hairs all over my body and yelped in surprise as I felt a canine like muzzle on my face. I couldn’t believe this was happening! As I stood there dumbfounded I hear a car pull into the drive way. I hid in a nearby tree, my head in a mess with thoughts and questions. “Where will I go?” “Can I ever see my family up close again?” “Why did this happen?” “Who can I trust?” I kept asking myself till I couldn’t come up with any more questions. Then I decided I couldn’t stay there, I took one final look through my window and saw the human I once was sitting there on a laptop, and whimpering I headed into the woods. I wandered the woods, scavenging for fruits and berries, sometimes stealing food from unlocked houses. In one house I found a mirror in the garage and decided to take it, staring at myself I saw my wolf-like face that still retained some of my features when I was human, and opened my mouth to see the sharp fangs awaiting me. After wandering through a large forest that I entered, I found a door. Not a fancy door just a wooden door, standing there looming over me in the middle of this forest. This sparked my curiosity as I opened it, looking through the frame I found a staircase leading down. I took one step and tripped over my own feet and fell down the entire length of the almost infinite staircase, looking around and rubbing my sore head I found myself in front of another door. Weakly I opened it to find not a room, but what seemed like an entire world, filled with plants and many different ecosystems. There were houses in pretty much every single ecosystem. I looked around this almost impossible place and explored some of it only to come across a large group of people, all of them talking to each other, some arguing. I then cautiously walked up to them, saying the only thing I could think of at the time. “h-hi…” some noticed but didn’t really care and went on with their business, others greeted me happily. I soon grew to love this room, meeting a whole gamut of people, from anthro foxes to nekos. It seemed there was no end to the diversity of each person. It was in that room that I met a fox that learned some very…”interesting” spells…in which he used to turn me into the mouse I am today. At first it was terrifying, but then I learned to love being in this small yet nice form. It was also in this room that I took up potions after receiving an alchemy book. I made potion
