this is just some progress, but I figured I'd post it in my excitement.
Can you tell the direction I've been going in?
Well anyway, I want some opinions, on this album. Perhaps not so much on content, but on the idea of the album itself. I'm fairly certain I know the answers but I'd just like to see if anyone would want me to release every song for free and then just have a nice package to sell later or be a dick and hold all the songs until done, post a preview then sell the album.
Or do any people think the album idea is just over ambitious and good only for portfolio fodder, and not so much real sales.

This is the first of your songs I've listened to, so I don't have any others to compare my critique to.
I didn't know what to expect when I started listening to it, but I love ambiance and was pleasantly surprised to see this song capture a distinctly mysterious and alien feel.
I don't know what you want your final product to be, but I'm a fan of instrumental, and I would look forward to buying something like this on an album. I enjoy ambient music from games like Myst, Riven, Half-Life, and Portal, so this feels like it could fit in with those last two.
I'm going to check out your other work. Great job!
