This is what I'm posting to keep my new years resolution. Yes, I am a bad person and this is a cheap save.

My New Year's Resolution was to post at least one thing to any one of a number of art sites per month. Originally, the intent was to post a completed work (i.e. something inked, colored, whatevered - depending on the medium I was using) and not just a bunch of sketches. However, considering how long it takes me to produce an actual "finished work" this quickly proved to be impractical given my busy schedule, so I've settled for including unfinished stuff, pencils, and sketches as long as it is new and gets posted.
I had not posted anything in the month of May. So, with only an hour remaing to save myself from failing to live up to even my own compromised expectations of myself, I created this lovely image which I call "Wet Cat and the Bird I Pulled Out of My Ass". The wet cat is a representation of man's eternal struggle to civilize his animalist tendacies and his own misery in said attempts, as well as my own feelings of disappointment in myself through actions meant for my own embetterment. The bird represents a bird. And really aren't we all birds in a non-avian sense?
