Another Ponyifcation of one of my characters.

It's not easy being a black pony in a pastel world. This is what Rhapsody has come to realize. She was a literal dark spot on their whole world or at least how she felt, seeing how brightly colored everyone else was. Even her sisters were more colorful then she was, particularly Harmony who seemed to be her opposite in just about every way. This has led to something of an obsession with color for the black pony. She is almost never seen without her rainbow striped socks, at the very least, and some kind of randomly colored mane band, which futilely tries to bring order to the chaotic mess that is her mane. She is loyal to a fault and will do anything to protect those she cares about or works with. Somehow chaos seems to follow her wherever she goes, not anything major, but small strange things that aren’t easily explained. She happens also happens to be a closet geek and has an entire collection of superhero comics that she keeps hidden in her room, seeing as how sometimes girls are mocked for such hobbies.

Rhapsody is one of the daughters of Shadewing and Evening Storm, as well as her sisters Harmony and Symphony. She has been raised on stories of Princess Luna, passed down through her family for generations starting with her ancestor Black Night, who was Luna’s guard captain before she was banished to the moon. Black Night had felt it was important for people to remember Luna as whom she was, rather then what she became, and thus every generation has passed on his stories. Rhapsody more than her sisters became enraptured by these tales, and has slowly devoted her life to the night in hopes that even just one pony showing appreciation for her work would prevent another Nightmare Moon from occurring. This has led to Rhapsody becoming an astronomer in her adult life, as it’s the easiest way for her to have an excuse for staring up at the sky all night long.
