mm i really really like this! my only issue is the face fluffs seem like they are almost overpowering the rest of the face to me, kind of like theres almost too much or too large.. and i think maybe changing the jawline so that there isnt so MUCH fluffy might change that, its not a huge thing and its not something that would stop me from buying it but its just something that visually comes across awkward to me personally.
constructive critique...the textures are well furred but the pattern is...wrong. it isnt settled on the body break like it should be an kinda looks lazy.An honestly not all that close to the standard marking for a germen shepp. An yes i agree with the others, the cheek fluff an nose needs work on being toned down a bit...the markings on the face need to make it more sharp looking...i suggest really studying the various markings an types of this breed an...i dunno try again. The fur also needs to be a lil more tan then chocolate. As is right now...i wouldnt buy the avi, id rather buy the mod my friend made for your Aard wolf because it looks more accurate.
http://static.ebayclassifieds.com/s.....n-shepherd.jpg It looks rather close to this pattern and Gsheps come in a number of different coats/colors ranging from lighter tan to chocolate.
On This! I am hoping to see many Brown color, coloration's for this pretty avatar. As far as the markings go I think they look very well for a WIP; There was no mistaking what the breed of Dog it was when I clicked on the preview picture :)
The nose seems a bit big, so maybe scale that down a little; and as some others have stated as well the cheek fur looks a bit off. Maybe try and have the bottom of the cheek fur meet the head? instead of having the gap?
Can't wait to see the finished product! Keep up the Amazing work! DsD has easily became my Favorite Line of Avatars

One thing I think I should point out, the eyes on your avatars (and usually a lot of other maker's avatars) often seem a bit too much off to the side. Predators like canines have forward-facing eyes like people do, while it's usually prey animals like rabbits that have eyes on the sides of their heads.
But it's still quite a nice avi and I want it really bad :3

The rigged legs are not gonna look wonky when I make my leg shape thicker, will they? And will the textures on the default SL body for the lower legs be textured like the rest of the body?
I had this issue with the squirrel. When I made my shape thicker, the lower leg thickness swelled over where the rigged mesh legs start, making them look awkward. Then, trying to size up the non-rigged legs only made the legs look ... way too big and disproportional. So my last resort was using the cut legs ... only to discover that the leg texture on the default SL body did not match the fur texture on the rest of the body ... it was just a solid color and made the cut legs look off. It was a great ave, but the legs just threw me off.
All in all, I love how it looks and I'm excited for it, I just don't want to run into these problems like I did with the squirrel :s

I know it's hard to fit rigged parts, unless it's fitted mesh, but even then it's still hard. Like the way the dragons legs were fitted around the knees, so when making the legs thicker, it did not effect the mesh legs or make it look awkward. I'm assuming that's how these legs will be done.
But my other problem was the lack of fur texture on the lower legs of the squirrel. The cut feet would fit nicely if the lower legs had the same fur texture as the rest of the body instead of a solid color.
