Just a little birthday gift for my sister Jasmine...I don't think I've ever given her original art before so she should be pretty happy to recieve this.
Getting up very early every morning, I am privilaged to see that magical hour just before the sun comes up on a regular basis. Its very calm and peaceful outside, and most of the time somewhere there is a mockingbird singing. That's the basis for this picture...an alcarin with mockingbird markings and morning glories in her hair. I based the sky off of what I saw on my way to work the other day, and I'm really happy with how it turned out.
