The USS Veldar was the forerunner to the Veldar Class, a Heavy Assault Cruiser design named in honor of Fleet Admiral Kavin Veldar IV upon his retirement from active duty. She joins design aspects of the Thunderchild Class Fast Cruiser and the Tiger Class Battleship into one formidable warship design.
