This is my cat, Meimei. She is very curious, very playful, and very loving. Loves to cuddle. I really dislike leaving her for work and such. (I have 12 hour shifts.)

Whenever she is happy, she likes to drool. I didn't know cats could do that, but she can. At least its not sticky and stinky like a dogs. Its actually, very liquidy.

How did I name her?
Well, I really like Asians. Their many cultures, their languages, their mythology and etc. So I wanted to give her a short cute Asian like name. I have a lot of baby name books(I write a lot of stories, and I need some way of coming up with names)so I looked through them, and I looked online. So I found Mei. There are many meanings behind names, and Mei had a few. I chose the meaning of "a beautiful flower". Then I decided to double the name and so it is Meimei. (Thats maymay, not meemee. A lot of people get it wrong...)

I think she likes her name, as she took to it very quickly.

Where did I get her?
There is a very small animal shelter not far from my parents home. She was only 13 weeks old when I got her.


She has helped me a lot through my pain and loneliness. I don't think that I would be this happy if she wasn't around.
