Masque guided the group towards the stage part of the studio, knowing of the layout of the building due to him looking at a digital copy of such. The others were talking among each other, the light-blue pony unable due to it having no way of communing back. When they reached the double doors leading to the stage, Masque stopped in front of them, having realized something.
“Hey. What if the fans kinda question why Sword isn't in the show as of now?” he stated to the four close by.
“Um…that's a rather good question.” Midora replied, ears folding down slightly.
Masque put a hand to his chin, thinking a bit. “Well, either we continue without him or…”
“Or…?” Reshina questioned, her head tilting to the side.
“I could disguise myself as him, though part of me is not wanting to risk any backlash.” the enforcer resumed, closing his eyes to continue thinking. It didn't take him long though as he let out a sigh. “Best to continue as is. Really not fond of Sword finding out that I imitated him on his own show…”
A nod came from the others, the man turning around and opened the doors, heading onto the stage, seeing that the curtains weren't drawn back yet. Each character took their seats; Leona and Midora sitting in seats next to each other with Reshina behind them, and Masque next to where Sword would sit, seeing the pony sitting down on the floor next to him.
'Here's hoping this doesn't bite me in the future…' Masque thought to himself, signaling for the curtains to be drawn back, seeing them do such after a few seconds.
Past them shown a full crowd, some of the cameras swiveling into position, focused on the group before them. Masque saw one of them doing a bit of a countdown, clearing his throat before the last tick.
“Hello and welcome to Ask the Characters.” he greeted “Sword isn't here as of now due to some issues on his side, so all of us decided to press on without him for this episode. Anyway, enough with the pleasantries, onto the ques–” Masque stated, though was cut off by the metal box that held said questions nailing him right on top of his head, two of the group jolting or gasping in surprise. His teeth gritted as his head dipped down from such, slowly removing the box from its spot, rubbing it after since the surprise did hurt him quite a bit.
“Well…there's the box…” he muttered under his breath, sitting back up in his spot. “Issues aside, lets see what's in here.” he finished, opening the lockbox and pulled out one slip of paper. “First few questions are from DeviantArt user 'sorarocks531'.”
To Reshina: May I hug you if I ever meet you?
A giggle came out from the reshiram, a small smile on her face. “I won't mind that at all.”
“Next one…”
To Midora: How soft is your hair?
The serperior blushed slightly at the question, reaching her right hand up to the strands of hair that draped from the top of her head. “N-not very soft as of now, but...it does get softer the larger I am.”
A light nod came from the enforcer, part of him doubting such as he went to read the third question.
To all: Will I be able to meet you all one day?
“That depends largely on Sword allowing such.” Masque answered. “I'll be sure to inform him to open up guest slots for the show.”
To Masque: How did you change into Midora? And can you explain how you opened the locks?
A grin shown up on the mans face, reaching his right hand out, a small portal opening up just before it could be fully extended. His hand reached into it, soon grabbing hold of something and pulled out, holding a mask that looked like an exact replica of Midora's face. The serperior's ears perked up when she saw it, blinking as well.
“Wait, is that…my face…?” she asked, the others looking to the mask.
“Yep.” Masque simply answered, smiling as he tossed the object up and caught it each time. “I was able to fool Sword into thinking that I was you earlier. Tis a specialty of mine; Don the appearance, abilities, weapons and optionally, personality of those whom I choose to appear as. As for the badge I have…” he gestured to the hexagonal device hanging above his left pocket. “Well, its uses are classified lest I get a fist straight from my leader to the face.” he finished, a flick of his wrist to send the mask flying behind him, the same portal from earlier opening up and let it sail through, vanishing after.
“Next question.” Masque stated before a word could come out of the mouths of the others. “This one is from DA user 'AALYC'.”
To all of you: What is it like in the Infini-room? What sizes do you all like to be at and what setting(like city or space)?
“Well, haven't really seen one of these 'Infini-rooms', mainly since…er…Sword didn't assign one for me.” Masque answered, rubbing the back of his head.
“A calm forest is what I was in prior to coming here.” Leona answered as she shifted in her spot, Reshina nodding in agreement as she may have had the same setting as well.
“I…didn't know on what to do while in my room.” Midora mumbled, her ears folding down slightly as she glanced away. “All I saw was a form of white void, then I stepped back out to roam around.”
Leona was able to tell that the experience had unnerved her, reaching over and lightly pat the serperior's back, earning a smile from her before hearing and seeing Masque closing the box, standing up in his spot.
“Well, that's all of the questions we have for this episode.” he stated, clearing his throat after. “I'm enforcer Masque…”
“Mi…Midora.”
“Leona.”
“Reshina.”
Masque didn't need to gesture to the pony, whom had been rather calm despite it being new here, largely due to the fact of it being mute.
“And we'll see you all next time!” Masque called out, the curtains to the stage quickly being drawn closed.
“Well, better check up on Sword now that today's show is over.” he said, starting to leave the stage with the others following suit. The pokemon went one way while the enforcer walked down the other hallway, the pony following him. At first he wanted it to go with the others but figured that he could allow it to follow him, continuing on his way to try and find Sword's room.
