I've got exams, I've got stuff going on, I even had a great friend order a commission from me, basically: things are stressful. I have to re-arrange things, I have to make priorities... and in all the hectic, I do sometimes want relaxation, and so I just decided to color something, a sketch that's been sitting in my "To-Do folder"...

Someone in the audience: Hey Farel, if you're that eager to color things, I have...
<smacks your hands with a hard long ruler>
Me: YOU ARE NOT HELPING!!!!!

So... again, Yan, a very talented friend, makes some amazing art, he again gets creative with the Angry Beaver characters (making em nostalgic about the show, I mean it was a great show!) and so, I just added a background from the show, this time not copying it, but trying to make my own version of it. And it's all... a giant horrid failure. The sketchy lines that Yan made look so great, which makes the awful background stick out like a soar thumb and the characters really look out of place. It's really clear this was made by 2 different people.

Sure, I could have re-made all the lines myself, then the style would synch-in perfectly, but... this is really meant to be a relaxation colouring! I didn't feel like putting all this work into it, but... that is sort of bad, because Yan made this great sketch and I sort of discredit it. It deserves better and....
<looks at watch>
... and I have to go now, I've got the next exam tomorrow, bye!
