Oh holy heck! To say this turned out amazing would be the understatement of the year. You've done an absolutely phenomenal job with this! I really have to say that, even though I expected you to come up with something rather impressive, this picture has completely blown any expectations completely out of the water. This is truly one rather remarkable picture!

Fang looks absolutely outstanding, everything about the face and head as a whole looks extremely life like. The hair, the whiskers, the tail, the clothing, everything is just absolutely amazingly well drawn. The pose looks great, and I really love that she's just relaxing there. What's that in her hand? Is that water? Considering you had so very little to work with, you got her absolutely on character.

People say I'm pretty good at backgrounds, but I could really do with learning a thing or two from you, as you're clearly light years ahead. The sky looks extremely good, with the bright glow from the sun peeking through the clouds, almost washing out the more distant mountains. Then you have the detailing on the trees giving just the right amount of detail for the distance, creating the perfect illusion of depth. But it's still filled with loads of detail in the foreground, with the smaller wild animals and the detailing on the grass there. Absolutely amazing.

But yes. Don't mind me, I'm going to go look up some more superlatives. I've exhausted all the ones I know! In all seriousness, absolutely amazing. Brilliant work!

first I was like, "wait, icelandic?" and then I saw you linked to a sigur rós song. XD this image is so peaceful and beautiful though, so warning/beware (that's what varúð means) had me wondering.... X3

Yesh I looked up the meaning of the song and I thought it kinda fits..as she's big and a carnivore and all..I'd love to go to a concert of him sometime ;___;

Good choice. Awesome artist. Incredibly good music. I don't know Icelandic very well, but I'm raised in Faroe Islands so I know an Icelandic when I see one. :P

Micros and Macros are a bit weird but.. this piece is really harmonic, and i love it <3 first micro/macro artwork that really catched my eye. ^^

I've come to the conlusion myself that I don't find it too weird..I actually draw them the same way I draw other commissions, just a bit bigger and you can use nice perspective :D

Yes, they are rather.. interesting :D They remind me of the book Gulliver's Travels sometimes. ^^
