I wouldn't upload anything too super large, cause it'll slow down the load time and makes people have to scroll around a lot if its super big.
I personally don't upload anything over a width of 1300, but I'd say 2000 is still fair n.n

And yep! I don't like scrolling around so much. +__+ And sometimes the too huge images are not even drawings that would need such big resolution.
