In the brief respite, Klein takes a moment to recollect himself and gaze into the bonfire. The warmth of the flames is barely enough to keep the gripping tension out of his heart and soul. Cursed he may be, but it would be fruitless to give up and become hollow. To many souls and so many trials and errors. Death was infinite yet never coming.

There were tales of a hero long past who had kindled and linked the fires before. Where have they gone? This place wasn't always named as such and it may have had even more names than that. This entire land was full of history and lore.

He was tired. It hasn't been easy and he had barely managed to get through some of the land. The link between worlds was dim here. No signs and no words of wisdom or warning. Had he gone too far? Was this place too much for most? The wolf sighed and remained quiet, letting his eyes look into the flames lapping at the air. He was cold, but it wasn't the air giving him chills. It was the thought of what else may lie ahead..
