The Adventures of Vanguard Skylar
Chapter I: Vanguard's life

This story starts off when when Vanguard and his older brother Korino are in high school focusing on the stories of the ancient Wolfen so far his brother is more likely the smart one Vanguard not so much. Korino, Vanguard's older brother, is more into studying, trying to master his elemental powers of ice and lighting, and try to get Vanguard not caught sleeping in class everyday. But there is one small difference that Vanguard is well I could get more girls than Korino because of his good looks, charm, and but the mate of his dreams is a female gazelle named Enelya. Enelya and Vanguard have been friends since they kids and now Vanguard has been trying to ask her out since freshmen year in high school. But every time he tries she runs away embarrassed. "Wait Enelya!" Grabs her wrist "why do you keep running away from me? I've been trying to ask you out for a long time now but you keeping running away from me, why?" Enelya plucked up courage "I was afraid what your parents will say!" "Seriously, oh right I'm a wolf and your a gazelle. I don't find anything wrong with th-" "No Vanguard that not it... it's just that I'm not sure this is gonna work if we start a relationship now, then we would have to hide our love from our parents." Vanguard lets go her wrist and holds her hand. Enelya blushes, "Listen Enelya it doesn't matter what species we are all that matters is that... I love you and I wanna be with you forever." After hearing his words, the two slowly kissed each other. While they were kissing they both said in their thoughts. "I've never felt like this before but it's like the second time we kissed and touched nothing else mattered all I wanted to do for him/her is to be there for him/her and make sure to keep him/her happy." The last school bell ringed and both of them gave away a goodbye kiss and headed home. As Vanguard and Korino were walking down the street, they reach their home which is a family home with three bedrooms, one giant living room, kitchen, backyard, and a hidden trading ground where their father teaches Vanguard and Korino how to control their powers, fighting styles, weapons, and to see who can beat their father in a sparring match on a two on one match. But something evil is lurking in the shadows and it waits for the to time to strike back.
