I got a new car! for those interested anyways.... 200Crank horsepower, around 173-176Rear Wheel horsepower 2.0 liter Boxer engine 2014 Scion FR-S
Well. I didn't tell anyone, but those I hung out with before I left St. Louis in May saw it... But I got a new car. it was a good, and sad feeling at the same time due to the things that lead up to it.
I graduated from Linn State Technical College with my Associates of Applied Sciences degree in Automotive Maintenance Technology/High Performance... That is a mouth-full, but that means I have a good understanding of basic automotive technology*if even bigger* and a major understanding and ability to build Engines for performance applications. Graduation was pretty awesome, short, and down to the point.
afterwards, the head gasket blew and the battery went out on my car leaving me stranded until my family showed up a few minutes later. All of this on the same day as graduation and right after i moved out of my landlord's house. Car-less I got back home and started looking for a new car. I needed something to take me to Texas so i can start my new job. aaannnnddd bam! Scion was able to work with me to finance me for a brand new Scion FR-S. it was pretty cool for my first new car experience, they let me drive it off the showroom floor.
Im just glad to have a car that ive always wanted, and was able to make it to Texas where I hope to start work and meet a bunch of new people.
Heh. funny the dealership i bought the car from had wolfe in the name.
I just want to say good things really come to those who deserve it. I almost threw in the towel a few times at school and almost passed on the opportunity to move to Texas. Of course I will miss my MissouriFurs, but you guys have a special place in my heart and will return someday when I get a chance.
*photo taken by me of course*
