no problem, may I ask what program you did this on? It's kind of odd because it looks like the coloring (though entirely solid) looks like it was done in photoshop, but then the line work looks like it was done in paint. I'm not trying to be rude or anything, just wondering if you wanted some pointers to improve your craft. I'm nothing big, but I like to throw out a helpful tip here and there. Plus I love how natural your character's expressions appear to be.

Well I don't know what GIMP is, but if money is the issue for an art program I'd say go for SAI I know that SAI is a free art program that A LOT of artist use, I myself only photoshop but sadly a copy of photoshop is in the 800 dollar range. BUT I heard photoshop was giving away free digital copies of photoshop 7 (which is what I used when I was younger) and you can get the same quality out of photoshop 7 than you can get out of the photoshop CS series now. The only thing is that I don't know if photoshop has 7 still for free. But as a die hard photoshop artist I'd say it's worth looking up and if not, than SAI is always open. Though I don't know how to use SAI the thing looks way to complicated though it's initially the same concept of photoshop. The difference in the two REALLY is that SAI does way better line work and has often been accredited to feeling like drawing in real life, where as photoshop has a lot better colors/filters if you want to go for realism of high definition.
