This is my OC Challenger; he used to be an anthro dragon with spikey hair. Now he is an anthro lava snake. He's still a cop and tries to play the good game instead of being the brawn of the police force. He even tries to get along with Razor but to no avail. I decided to have this Challenger and the adopted Challenger (see ID for the adopted version) to be kept separate so the adopted Challenger can be kept instead of being changed to a lava snake.

Challenger became a lava snake after an incident where he fell into an active volcano from a dislocated wing. Luckily he made it out but was covered in raw lava and was burning to death. However, instead of dying he was transformed into this. His clothes were trashed but he got some new gear the day after. Despite his skin being molten rock with lava veins, his clothes are unaffected to the skin. But he wears gloves just in case they burn something he doesn't want burning. Challenger likes his new look and prefers it over his dragon self.

Challenger has a few abilities up his sleeve now that he's a lava snake. He can spit and vomit lava at his leisure. Apart from the vomit, that happens randomly. His tongue and mouth are glowing lava so his licks usually catch most things on fire or explode while things he eats get burnt. His horns, eyes and toe talons are also made of lava so touching them will leave severe burns. Everywhere else that isn't lava is safe to touch.
Since he's a lava snake, Challenger gets stronger while engulfed in flames. The fire will even heal him. Plus, the fire doesn't burn his outfit for some reason. Either way, fire is his friend.
He is very weak to water and if his body is drenched in water he will become rock solid which would either render him unable to move until the hard rock falls off where he can regenerate (since the water only covers his body instead of completely extinguishing him) or die overall. Its always the first instance.

Challenger is that sort of person that person that likes to do what he wants but as long as he doesn't get into trouble. He tries to be a good cop in most situations but sometimes he fights as part of self defense. Even on the job. Challenger can also be a little lazy. Often bribing Kenshin or Razor to do his paperwork for money. But when he doesn't feel lazy he'll help out the officers by keeping distraught bystanders at bay while the officers investigate. Challenger is also friendly, soothing and an easy-going fella. He doesn't give much crap to his colleagues but the collegues give him a lot of crap. Still, Challenger is one of those guys who would like to be your friend but doesn't take bulls***.

Challenger wears a grey coat, black pants with a grey groin & pocket section, black wrist gloves and black boots. His skin is molten volcano rock with lava veins all over his body and his eyes are glowing lava yellow. His belts around his gloves are black too. He speaks in a smooth, spanish accent and will use a snakey emphasis on the S'.

His tail seen there is that long he can use it to coil himself. He drags it along as he walks because its that long. He mostly uses his tail to sit when there's no free seats in the house ;P
