Gentle Days in Azalea Town W.I.P.
Whew... This one took a lot of recording to do. I had a crappy mic, so please excuse the quality--Zire 72 Palm Pilots do the most with what they've got. (Hey! I was using Voice Memo, so gimme a break!!) There are a few mistakes, and the tempo changes unexpectedly, not to mention abrupt halts here and there. I was so shaky while trying to record this, so all of my chords were done a bit pathetically. ><;; Nevertheless, this song came out "just" about the way I always play it when I play it for my friends, so... Enjoy! =)
About this song...: This song was inspired by the ending theme to "Law of Ueki" ("Ueki no Housoku" in Japan), "Little Planets." http://youtube.com/watch?v=YFTa1nbFiFU <
PLEASE!! Give it a listen. It's a really pretty and beautiful song, and it was sung so beautifully!! It made me cry the first time I heard it... but maybe I'm just a softy... TT~TT It's very pretty, and extremely touching. It's the first song to ever reach my heart since "Hoshi no Koe" ("Voices of A Distant Star" in the States).
My goal was to create a touching, mellow theme of the otherwise gentle and yet slightly playful "Azalea Town" song from Pokemon Silver. The song holds special meaning to me, and I wanted to give that song flight... This song is my expressed feelings, with a gentle twist somewhere in the middle.
As soon as I get a better mike (and get used to recording myself!!), I promise a better, more complete version of the song, with better quality, fixed chords, slight changes in melody, and lastly--THE FULL VERSION!! Thanks goes to my pal, Eddy, for critiquing my music-playing abilities. Without another fellow band buddy around, I would have never had the guts to put this online. Thanks, Eddy!!

Wow, that is really beautiful glad I listend to it, heheh, quality can't be helped, but even so it was really nice to listend too, gave me quite a peaceful feeling for a while, and I could clearly imagen the town on a gentle, breezy day that is for sure... *nod* Wonderful job, keep on playing!
Thanks, Pika... =) It really makes me feel as though I've achieved my purpose knowing that there are listeners like you who really do appreciate the way the song came out. Thanks for understanding. =) Keep watching for the finished version someday...! And thanks for the fav!
I already realized that I forgot a few bits and pieces here and there, and am working to incorporate them into the song, so I'm making progress. Great thing is, a friend of mine is willing to lend me his MIDI-to-PC cord, so hopefully not only will it be complete, but also better sounding too! ^^
I'm really glad you like listening to this song, though... Aside from the link I posted up there, it was also driven out of inspiration from a song I wrote after my cousin died... ;___; So, it has a lot of meaning to me--both this song and the other one I wrote. Thanks for listening, Pika...! See you around sometime!

Well doing it from memory your always bound to miss a few notes now and then, even to songs you basicly know by heart. *nod* Heh, yeah, that would certiantly help how it sounds, good to hear.
Ahhh... well sorry to hear that... The song does kinda make me think of something of the sort, 'cause it starts out Gental and the like, then starts to speeds up like if looking back at a memory, then, with a sudden stop, returns to the same gental style as it was at the start yet a little slower... I can see how it could have such meaning. *nod* Glad to have listend, heh. You too, take care.

Oh. My. God.
Seriously man, this is beautiful. Will you be able to upload a cleaner version of this song? It's absolutely fantastic!
I'd hate to be a squealing fanboy and ask if you'd VGL more pokemon songs, since there's a lack of non-dance/rave/techno/electronic remixes of the series.
You, sir, just earned yourself a fave and watch!

^///^ Wow~! Thanks, Fenix!!!
Truth is, I'm ready to re-record it again. I just need a better mike to do so. My friend has one (I think), and I've already patched up the spots in the song that were kinda iffy, and even added a new section to it. MOST DEFINITELY will I be re-recording it again! x3 Thank you so much for the fav! And -yes---I've got another song to record too: Violet City/Cherrygrove City from G/S/C. And, Route 1 from RBY, and Vermillion City, and Route 8! LOTS of songs to record--just don't have the proper stuff to get it done with. ;w;
But THANK YOU SO MUCH for your watch and fav! =O Seriously--you have no idea how much your comment made me smile!! Thanks, Fenix!
