Since artists learn through critiques and criticisms, so here goes...
The muzzle looks more wolven than marsupial, I think it needs to be shorter and less squared-off.
The chest and arms, AWESOME! Very nice, VERY hawt.
The forepaws however, are somewhat disproportionate... Things like paws and heads are bone, not muscle and therefore should be proportionate to each other, even if the figure is otherwise hyper-muscular... So either the forepaws are massive, or the head is minuscule.
The torso's color transition, while a kewl effect, is somewhat... abrupt and unnatural. Perhaps there could be some carry-over to the legs? I would think a few visible ab muscles wouldn't hurt either... *MURRR*
The thighs are very nice, I almost want to say they're too big though? The arms and chest are big, but the thighs are HUGE. I'd bring them in, just slightly.
It looks like you changed the calves, as there are multple shades of white in the background, I can see too larger outlines which were erased... The figure's left calve, (Our right) is PERFECT! But the other one still seems slightly too big.
The hindpaws are great, I really like the look you went with, MUCH better than actual Possum Paws... *shudders* But seeing their scale and comparing them to the forepaws, I'm leaning towards believing that the head is actually what's disproportionate... They are nice though and even if you just brought the forepaws in a little, I think the hind paws could stay the same.
I... LOVE the tail... But the colors are off... It starts out too red, fades to purplish-brown and then ends up too dark... I looked up a few opossum pictures online and couldn't find any with tails of changing colors. If this was Zoober's intention, I'm sorry... But I think the hind paws are the PERFECT color of pink, and the fore paws are too red, I'd change them all to match the hind paws.
Also, the tail is listed as 3.5" long and the height is 6' 0" tall... I assume the tail is meant to be 3.5', but I'd keep the same format and list it as 3' 6" to match the height.
My first character sketch actually took about a dozen different takes before the artist got it "just right", as you can see here:

And considering that I paid the same for my sketch as Zoober did for this one, I assume this is only your second or third version? I look forward to seeing the finished product! (And another angle or two, for the price, wouldn't hurt!)

The proportions and entire image have already been seen by Zoober, and okay'd by him. Critique or not, that's what he wanted.
My Mate, Dineegla, did the coloring, and as much as we looked as Opossums, we decided to go after a more colorful tail, truth be told.
And for some reason, his Macintosh doesn't catch the multiple changes of colors in the calves. Strange. You can't see them on a Mac or Firefox. Hmmm....
I thank you for your critique. My mate, who is an artist and teacher for 25 years however, does not agree with you.

Ok, let us do some damage control here for now.
No offense, but though it is true that all artists learn from critiques and criticisms. The same must be said for the one giving them as well. I believe that all types of artwork should be accepted and open to all types of comments whether good or bad. But if you want to do so, please learn what type of artist is drawing it up and learn what his style of artwork is shown as.
Yours was a bit over the top, and you were acting like you were the one commissioning the piece instead of Zoober that Muscle Wolf was doing for. And then you link what an artist should do when doing a reference piece for commission, then making a statement of the price that should be only the concern of the two parties not for your own input. All artists do different types of break downs for commission work. So please do compare what you had done, to what others should do as well.
Also, from your statements on the drawing. You seem to have left out the artist rendering style in the design. An artist has an artistic look to his style, you would have noticed it from past drawings that he has posted here on this site. And that fans like this style of artwork, so he gets commission work. You have stated your pros & cons on the artwork but you also offer your own opinion for changes on the artwork that is not in the style of the artist of rendering.
Please remember, everyone on this site. This is a Furry Fan site. Not a professional site. Everyone here is posting to improve and show off their skills. Don't take things to personal, and get upset about something that is nothing.
Just have FUN!!!
This relpy is a non-biases in nature. It is to help all parties in this posting. If anyone wishes to add their own comments to this. Please do so. It will help in the understanding of fans views on future artwork posting

Hmm, this IS interesting, Apparently, my 31' monitor Mac is not catching the subtle white flaws that an ordinary laptop running Windows would catch. There was no way I would have caught that until I saw it on a regular monitor (and practically standing on my head, lol), so I must make note of that for future works. I increased the DPI of the artwork, and I also was able to fix, using the PC monitor as a guide, the white flaws. Also note that this is MW's and My first time doing a character sketch, and we are learning. And this is a work in progress.
