Here is the working map of the area of Winter Haven.
Winter Haven (http://www.winterhavenlarp.com) is a LARP near Kalamazoo, Michigan. It's been running 5 games a year since 2006 and is the sister-game to (and using the rules of) Final Haven (http://www.finalhavenlarp.com).
The setting is a typical fantasy setting with Humans, Elves, Dwarves, Orcs and the rest (well, actually there's only a certian number or races allowed) in a sort of post-apocalyptic world, if the highest society ever got was Rivendell in Lord of the Rings. Societies are rebuilding themselves and all of that.
Anyways, my friends are running the larp and I've put together the Winter Haven website and after a while I decided it was time to make some illustrations to show exactly WHAT people were looking at. So here's the first submission... the map of the area.
It's made to look like someone drew with charcoal or pen on old found paper and threw in some watercolor. I found a font that looks good enough that one might think it's hand-written. Oh, well. I have a few more illustrations from this coming since I've been sparse in my submissions of late.
Tools: Photoshop CS (Yes, it's all digital.)
